The London Asif Khan office carried out a pavilion, which is fully covered with the blackest shade of black ever created in the world, the Vantablack VBx2, on the occasion of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games at PyeongChang, in South Korea. This dull black covering material can absorb 99% of the light which lights its surface. Vantablack deletes the three-dimensionality of the pavilion and creates the illusion of a black hole even in broad daylight. The fa\u00e7ades of this structure are dotted with thousands of tiny white lights which reproduce the sight of the space. Inside this 35×35 m structure, Khan designed wide \u201cwater room\u201d \u2013 a water-proof and multisensorial installation which gives out 25000 drops of water every minute. By means of some tactile detectors, visitors are enabled to create new rates the drops fall at, collide at and separate at. This aquatic landscape looks like a city seen from the space.<\/p>\n
